Research Interests

The focus of my research is on the development of mathematical models for the evolution of multicellularity and cellular differentiation in bacteria. I use mainly cyanobacteria as model organisms. I am also interested in the biophysical aspects of their developmental strategies for light harvesting and nitrogen fixation.
