I have a broad interest in land-climate interaction and surface hydrology with focus on alpine and arctic environments. Currently I'm working on the impact of different types of tundra vegetation on the surface energy balance. This involves measurements of the radiation balance at our field site in Kytalyk (70.83°N,147.50°E) as well as modelling of radiative transfer through the shrubs.
