Environmental Policy

This research group poses questions at the interface between society’s actions and the environment. Taking a political science perspective, we use social science methods and approaches to analyze current questions of resource use, its effects of the natural environment, and the policies that aim to regulate our impact. Such questions can be addressed both at the policy design as well as the policy implementation level, whereby we aim to consider all aspects of the policy cycle in environmental politics.

Head of group: Dr. Tamaki Ohmura

  • Forest policy of Switzerland and the EU
